The furvor around the Google Pixel 2 XL's display has died down somewhat, and now we're seeing
software hitting the phone that reflects Google's intentions.

We witnessed BlackBerry 10

hit the market in 2013.
Android 7 Nougat and Android 8 Oreo both went through extensive public betas, so those with compatible
phones (Nexus and Pixel devices) could sample the
software through its development until it
hit final release.
As always, the update is likely to
hit unlocked
phones first — carrier devices usually come with additional apps and
software features that require more time to test and bring up to date.
No matter how OnePlus has been trying hard to keep up with
software updates and such like stuff, there's no way this
phone can
hit the same heights as the Google Pixel and Pixel XL when it comes to smooth operations, timely
software updates and general performance.
Pei said that, in addition to the hardware improvements, OnePlus has a dedicated portion of its
software team working exclusively on the OnePlus 2's camera and photo
software, so look for improvements to the
phone's picture - taking features even after it
hits the market.
For those who don't know whether the
software version they are using is the latest or not, now might be the time to
hit the Settings menu of your Huawei
phone.
The beta version of the update has already
hit a few Huawei devices, but the first
phones to receive the stable version will be the high - end P9 and Mate 8 (the Mate 9 just received final
software yesterday).

software will likely
hit other Android
phones, such as the Galaxy S8 and LG G6, sometime later this year (or even later — Samsung's devices didn't get last year's Android N until early 2017).
