hockey stick PCs with tiny absolute magnitudes from «red noise» and compared them to an order - of - magnitude larger
hockey stick PCs from Mann et al., as in Figure 4.1)
Can someone point me to the answer
about whether or not the algorithm computing the
hockey stick in the IPCC third report actually does produce that shape with random red - noise, as claimed by McKitrick / McIntyre — ie
something that makes the case on that without resorting to character assasination?
Sorry I haven't been following this thread (s)-- busy on other things — but I was showing the IPCC WG1 graph (the
hockey - stick) to someone today and noticed
something else
about it.
Men deal with stress by forgetting
about it or distracting themselves by doing

hockey game on TV.
