It's clear that this is a tricky topic... each time I mention
something about this in a post, all you silent
readers come out and leave me comments - some nice, some not, but I don't mind.
Look, having a dog does make you winner, in our eyes, and using that info in your tagline does indeed reveal
something about you, but instead of making a demand right off the bat, consider inserting a bit of humor that makes the
reader want to delve deeper.
Again this suggests you feel that there is
something vaguely wrong
about using this method to meet someone which may be insulting to your
reader.
The
reader now knows a story
about the woman, has
something that can help strike up a conversation, and has been shown in what way the writer's kind and sensitive nature comes out.
Tell a story
about yourself, describe situations that show the
reader something about you.
