Continuing with your rather odd
digression (and worrying failure to grasp the point), but happy to move onto
something more light - hearted, the terminology
of the British Isles outside
of international rugby, that is what they are still called is (quaintly and elegantly, in my opinion) rife with curiosities arising from our colourful history.
Digression is a common literary technique favored by authors like David Foster Wallace and Thomas Pynchon, but outside
of the last two entries in the Saints Row franchise (a series Chung name - dropped as keeping a surrealist streak alive in games), it's not
something we see much
of in either the AAA or indie - gaming space.
This post is
something we have often been promised from Tony Brown, but never before seen: a genuinely interesting historical
digression, whether or not you agree with any
of the major conclusions.
