Justin Timberlake proves engaging as the heir who might keep Shrek (Mike Myers) and Fiona (Cameron Diaz) from having to assume the throne, and the face - off between the villainous Prince Charming (Rupert Everett) and Shrek turns out to be
something of a nerd's dream in which wit conquers good looks.

Branding is so important to me, and I am kind
of a huge
nerd when it comes to
something that is branded well.
And that last photo looks like
something from the bridge
of the Enterprise... oh wait, you are not a
nerd..
Also, it did have somewhat
of an early stigma
of being the dating method
of last resort,
something only for shut - in undateable
nerds.
Yet that won't matter because the people this movie will speak most deeply to — a rainbow - coalition cross-section
of black comic book readers, African - American movie audiences, Boseman / Jordan / Bassett / N'yongo fans, black - culture connoisseurs and pop - culture
nerds — will see
something of themselves in this movie.
This is totally not a game designed for kids, but I think
something like this is one
of the problems that the Miiverse has: there's no room for games like Angry Video Game
Nerd Adventures to be fully represented and enjoyed on the service.
But
of course, QT is like most
nerds who tend to favor stuff that is «cool» or falls right into their geeky wheelhouse, which makes the dismissal
of «Drive» all the more strange (though maybe he was intimidated by a movie that took many
of the same influences he shares and created
something fresh, rather than a winking homage).
Wes Anderson movies are possibly the closest thing to an event movie for the... I was going to say
something like «indie
nerd cinephile set,» but the truth is Anderson's films are beloved by all kinds
of audiences — those who love tentpoles, cineastes, sci - fi aficionados, etc..
David and I went to film school together, and one
of the film
nerd games we'd play was, one
of us would come up with the title for
something, and then the other person had to come up with the plot
of that movie.

nerd indulgences steep his films in a cinematic tradition while also reflecting
something of a creative deficit.

of horrible stigmas with it.
This week is the EAG expo 2017, held in London's Excel Exhibition Centre, and for SEGA
Nerds everywhere it is
something of an extra exciting event this year — because SEGA Amusements Europe is showcasing the return
of Daytona USA, with Daytona 3, or rather «Daytona Championship USA» as it's officially titled.
But there is
something about the aesthetics
of the packaging that really warms the heart in the old SEGA
Nerd, bringing back the nostalgia factor and the days
of buying (or receiving) new SEGA games as a kid.

There's one thing we here at SEGA
