For starters enemies don't really respond to the vast majority of your strikes, failing to sell Vulcan's muscular sword swings, while the
controls can
sometimes be a little
sluggish.
Controls are
sluggish, unresponsive, and further hobbled by
sometimes glitchy animations that don't quite hit their mark.
In practice, the simplicity of the «move here / shoot that» commands and the
sometimes sluggish nature of the AI means that it's usually better to take direct
control of a soldier and play it through like a traditional CoD level.
My only complaint is that the
controls sometimes feel
sluggish due to too much going on, too much processing.
