With what was a very simple arcade racer on the NES, now twenty years later I was interested to see what
sort of game Excite Truck would be like and if it would be able to really last against a great market of great arcade racers.

FUN: It's fun to use because

It isn't very
exciting, which may be disappointing for people who expect the
game to have any
sort of attitude or personality beyond its atrocious music, but it works decently and has a great deal
of unadvertised potential as a relaxation aide for stressed out people that have a fondness for ATV racing.
In this day and age, it's hard to get
excited about tower defense
games since this is a genre that has been dissected, examined and finally put in all
sorts of different blenders that has often yield great results, whereas other experiments have been less successful.
Although the online play is very functional and has plenty
of options, there is just nothing overly
exciting about it and I found that a lot
of my experiences in the
game were against players that really did not know the
game of poker, and that
sort of hurt my online experience as well.
Having played all the Legend
of Zelda
games in the series, I'm very happy with the characters choices they've made and am
excited to see what
sort of co-op combinations we can come up with.

Ideally you'll get matched up with players who are at or around your skill level, but my early experiences with the
game ended up reminding me that while I think the competitive multiplayer in Gears is well - designed and
exciting, playing it against people who play a lot
of it is frustrating in an «I guess I'll just turn this off now» way, not a «Gee, I'm going to strive to get better so this stops happening»
sort of way.
In most ways that matter, this is a fine conversion
of an enduring classic, and is exactly the
sort of game that makes Xbox Live Arcade one
of the most
exciting gaming platforms around.
As a fan
of both adventure
games and the Batman franchise, I was
excited to see what
sort of new take Telltale
Games would bring to the Caped Crusader's universe.
Now I do love a good puzzle
game, so I was rather
excited to get my hands on Pix the Cat from French studio Pastagames — an arcade
game,
sort of like Snake with a splash
of Pac - Man thrown into the mix.
Fuzion Frenzy is almost a classic
sort of Xbox title providing a frenzied series
of exciting mini
games to battle in.
One imagines it will be a
sort of 3D LittleBigPlanet, which given the creative tools present in that
game is a very
exciting concept indeed.
Forza 6 gameplay was shown and while it is hard to get
excited about this
sort of game from a stage trailer it certainly looked the goods.
Before you get too
excited, it's possible that this may just be advertising some
sort of bundle pack that includes a selection
of games from each series.
This
sort of flavor text was usually reserved for the Codex in previous Mass Effect
games, so it's
exciting to see it flow more naturally into the main
game this time around.
The city is going to be bigger,
gamers will finally get the chance to speed through the streets on the Batmobile, and there's sure to be all
sorts of exciting next - gen wizardry that will dazzle us thanks to the power
of new hardware.
