Snack on soy nuts instead of cheese;
use soy nut butter instead of peanut butter for a change of pace (you may not be able to tell the difference!).
I haven't tried
regular soy nut butter, but the chocolate kind I got is a bit quite salty — it's somewhat similar to sunflower seed butter.
But it can easily be made so by replacing the
chocolate soy nut butter for a chocolate nut butter made with low - or moderate - FODMAP nuts, such as almonds, hazelnuts, sunflower seeds or peanuts.
Variations and suggestions: Try natural peanut butter (no sugar added) instead
of soy nut butter.
We do use
chunky soy nut butter, soy milk, and brown sugar in the recipe (this is due to my 4 year old having severe food allergies.

Tragically, the Swedish National Food Administration warning has not been publicized much in the U.S. Indeed, the Soyfoods Association of North America — and even many allergy support groups —
recommend soy nut butter and soy nuts for children allergic to peanuts and tree nuts.
This is the first recipe I've posted to the blog that's not strictly low - FODMAP, as it contains some delicious
chocolate soy nut butter I found (on sale) at the grocery store near my house.
I don't know what the taste or consistency
of soy nut butter is, so I can't say for sure, but if it's close to one of those, it should work.

use Soy Nut Butter to replace the coconut.
And don't forget soy infant formula, soy milk, soy lattes,
soy nut butter and soy veggie burgers.
I substituted Nutella, also used up
soy nut butter that no one ate, added Maca, chia and folks gobbled em up.

I made them gluten - free and vegan so that most people could enjoy them, and you could easily make them nut - free if you're dealing with nut allergies by replacing the almond butter with sunflower seed or
soy nut butter and the almond milk with another non-dairy milk like rice or soy.
