The Skybridge at Elsewhere is a built - in floating project
space for emerging visual &
installation artists to showcase work on a seasonally rotated basis, open during the day for
viewing hours.
Visitors will enter the new
space through Building 5, the signature gallery for MASS MoCA's large - scale
installations, which will feature Nick Cave's Until through Labor Day 2017, or through Building 8, where a light - based work by Spencer Finch has been on
view since February 4.

The Manchester Art Gallery presents Raqib Shaw's largest solo exhibition to date, featuring 28 recent recent paintings, sculptures, and works on paper, many on public
view for the first time.In addition, Shaw has created a floral
installation that fills the galleries, lending an otherworldly, paradisical atmosphere to the
space.

space in its exhibition schedule for the Annual Guild
[13] He started making room sized
installations that made the
spaces themselves his playground and the
viewing of his art a visceral, physical experience.
We
view this
space as a temporal solo exhibition, with each large work staying on the wall for at least 6 months, before being painted over and recommissioned for the next show.The site specific
installation pushes the artists craft and practice to create something beyond their normal scale — the wall being 20 foot long and 14 foot high.
The majority of the works he is presenting, including paintings, sculpture,
installation and drawings, were created during the residency and will be in
view in all five of the gallery
spaces.
Other exhibits currently on
view at the Brooklyn Museum are Chicago in L.A., Judy Chicago's early works, and Brooklyn - based artist Swoon's Submerged Motherland, a site - specific
installation in the museum's rotunda gallery engages climate change and transforms the
space into an artistically constructed fantastical environment.

I've cycled nearly my entire program through that
space, which means I have fresh
installation views, which are so important in this digital age when we're sending JPEGs to people who don't actually come to the gallery.
The exhibition, showcasing Secondary Stories as well as three video
installation works, opens at
SPACE, the public gallery of the Linda Pace Foundation, located at 111 Camp Street, on April 30, 2016 and will remain on

The new
installation will increase the number of works on
view from the collection, which will henceforth be presented in a new purpose - designed gallery
space off the Museum's Concourse dedicated to Islamic art.
Dividing and subdividing the gallery, this
installation both tackles and expands upon two central themes: an architectural play with transparency and concealment as well as an encounter between an intimate and private exhibition
space and a strikingly public stage, which places «on
view» the visitor's every movement.

The small beads are hand - painted with some of the quirky freedom that characterizes her impermanent fabric arrangements, but the bead
installation follows a uniform scale, height, and
spacing logic, with beads dropping in parallel and perpendicular lines from the grid of ceiling beams from thin, nearly invisible strings that alter and direct the flow of the
viewing space.
All of the second - floor galleries were retrofitted, new walls were constructed, and projectors were installed to create intimate
viewing spaces that allow the viewer to experience each video work to the exact
installation requirements of the artists — this includes specific wall colors, audio parameters, sound panels, other installed materials, projection angles, and screen selection.
The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles offers up Adrián Villar Rojas: The Theater of Disappearance, featuring the artist's site - specific
installation inside The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA's warehouse
space, on
view through May 13.
Also on
view are
installations taken directly from the artist's former Brooklyn studio and loft
space as a recreation of the artist's workspace.
In order to accommodate all 10 works — with individual
viewing spaces that provide optimal light and sound for each video
installation — NMWA's curatorial team redesigned and transformed the second floor gallery
