Although there is plenty of room for visitors on the upper level, the bunk room
over the
garage was thoughtfully designed to maximize on
space and storage, providing four additional sleeping quarters with clever storage below.
First I had a basement (dreary and light starved), then my studio was in my
garage (better
space — but still light was at a minimum)... then finally I was able to take
over the
space that was formerly our family room.
I do really like the built - in bed (if we ever had a large enough attic or a
