I just went into a live online database via PHPMyAdmin and deleted 22,000
spam comments from a client's WordPress blog all at once.
Wow, clearly baby center isn't filtering out all of
the spam comments from folks trying to make a quick buck!
Not exact matches
If you merely post a link to your site instead of a
comment, you may be flagged as
spam, which could result in your being banned permanently
from posting on that site.
Now look, I appreciate your interaction on my blog, but please refrain
from spamming multiple
comments all over the place.

If I'm particularly offended by and / or receive several
comments in violation of the policy
from a single commenter, all future
comments originating
from that IP address will automatically be placed in my blog's
spam filter and I won't see them for moderation.
Comments that don't contribute to the conversation, are obviously
spam, promotional in nature, or intended for back - link purposes will be deleted and the author banned
from future
commenting ability.
I appreciate the reply and you leaving my prior
comments up - but the
comment I left prior to those was deleted immediately after I posted it - I am far
from spam.
And the reason we use the math problems — just so you know — is to protect our site
from spam comments.

Hopefully it saves you
from getting
spammed with annoying
comments on your Insta too!

from the site.

What happened with the romance community thread is that, as readers
commented on the topic, several authors hijacked the thread,
spamming it with everything
from angry spews to jokes
from joke books, anything to derail the
comments.
However, these
comments need to be relevant and add value to the blogs you're leaving them on; otherwise they will be ignored as
spam - like efforts
from self - centered promoters.
A week later, I have yet to see a
spam comment slip through, and the number I have to delete
from my
