The MicroUSB port and primary microphone take their place along with the round
speaker holes in the bottom, while a secondary microphone and the headset jack is located on the top.

As a result, the
speaker holes are located
in the lower - left corner of the back of the device and not along the
bottom of the device.
OnePlus has housed a tiny pair of stereo
speakers on the
bottom edge of the device - as held
in portrait view - with two telltale rows of machined
holes either side of the microUSB port.
The
bottom of the phone houses a lone
speaker grill, which gets quite loud (more on this
in part 2 of our review), a USB Type - C port for data transfer and Dash Charge (more on this below), and a headphone jack, and the top of the phone is barren of
holes and ports.
To do so, you just push up through a
hole in the
bottom of the shell to force the inside of the
speaker out — sort of like a Push Pop.
The procedure is pretty complicated and involves boiling adhesive off the
bottom of the device, locating a space where the headphone port actually fits, and even going so far as to carve a
hole in the smart home
speaker.
On the top can be found a
speaker grill, which comes
in handy for two - way audio and for sounding an alarm, while on the
bottom you'll find a screw -
hole for mounting the camera to a tripod or another type of bass, if you so choose.
The top has the camera and flash, while there is a wide
speaker grill with the
holes in the
bottom.
