Once Google finally delivered the latest update, users began reporting
speakerphone issues.
After receiving the long awaited update to Android 7.1.1 Nougat in December, Nexus 6 owners are now experiencing
speakerphone issues with the device, according to Android Police.
There is no word on whether there are any Bluetooth or
speakerphone issues on the Pixel smartphones.

Although it's not equipped with the BlackBerry Passport's unique feature called Active Leak Compensation, which automatically adjusts the call volume based on how close you hold the smartphone to your ear, I had no
issues with calls or even the
speakerphone on the BlackBerry Classic.
The Nexus 6 currently has
issues with its
speakerphone when users attempt to make a phone call.
As it is, the
issue starts showing up when one is making calls using the
speakerphone.
Using the
speakerphone is fine, but when listening to music, all the
issues related to a single speaker setup show up.
The only
issue here is the
speakerphone placed at the rear, which is not so clear.
The person on the other side of the call also didn't report any
issues, nor could they tell when I switched from
speakerphone and talked to the phone from across the room.
The earpiece is bright and clean, callers had no
issues hearing me, and even more impressive is the strength and clarity of the
speakerphone.
