As with these fighting type games, each player has their own unique skills and special moves, and certain players have weapons as well.

Once again, customers can collect six types of boxes inspired by the game (this time there is also a Metal Gear Survive and a Charon Corps box, in addition to the already existing boxes), and by entering a download code they can acquire a special item within the game: the Rainbow Mountain Blend.

The game offers the same type of graphical smoothing that Metal Slug 3 and Fatal Fury Special had, and it looks pretty bad.

While characters have proficiencies and unique weapon types, the game smartly allow variations of most weapons to be equipped by different classes — each has unique stats and special abilities but mostly share the same arsenal, allowing players to customise all heroes to their own preferred playstyle.
