The leadership team, consisting of the principal, assistant principal, instructional coach,
reading, math, gifted, ESL,
library and media, and
special education specialists, met each week to explore curriculum and instructional issues, discuss and analyze walkthrough data to identify instructional areas needing improvement, and determine the professional development needs of staff.
The complaint goes on to state that the school, which currently enrolls 70 students in grades K - 8, fails to educate students in any subjects other than basic
reading, writing and math; it lacks a system to provide
special education; it's understaffed and the teachers it does employ are underqualified; it doesn't have a functioning
library; and teachers and administrators use excessive and exclusionary discipline on the children.

The goal is to provide direct assistance funding to middle or high school
libraries for
special short - term projects or events that would create new or enhance educational activities in order to engage students with and in the
library and to promote
reading, books, literacy and authors.
Read your school's or school
library's newsletter to learn about
special programs and family literacy activities at the school
library.
These
special reading sessions are held at local
libraries and select after school programs.
Internet access is provided (with a charge), plus a hairdresser for
special nights out, boutique stores to browse in, a
library and
reading room.
Don't assume that I think you're no better than a
special needs adult
