Since 2010 the charity has been freeing survivors from laboratory experiments, senior and
special needs animals from shelters, and victims of horrific abuse from around the world.
We are always looking for families to welcome
special needs animals into their homes until they are ready to return to the shelter for permanent placement.
It's a group made up of volunteer pilots, who use their own planes, and cover their own fuel and expenses, to
transport special needs animals around the country.

special needs animals who have behavior or medical conditions may need to be in a foster home where they can thrive in a quieter and more private setting.

Because preventing barriers to adoption and keeping an already adopted pet securely in a home are strongly held ideals at Animal Aid, we hope to raise as much as possible to keep both parts of the program well - funded and to be able to help as many

Foster Program: Our devoted and hardworking foster families have provided a loving and safe environment for more than 8,000 underage puppies, kittens and
special needs animals since instituting our foster program in 2010.

The Dr. Do More Fund was originally created to help Heartland with the medical costs and therapy Esther would need before she could find her forever home, but over the years it has evolved and has allowed us to save and treat dozens
