University of Northampton First Year student Suzanna Raymond will make Organised Chaos, a site specific installation comprising of found «junk» from the Milton Keynes area, which will also be featured in related photographs and painting.

Emerging from her use of objects in her paintings and her inclusion of found objects in her ephemeral site - specific works, these new painting - sculpture hybrids contrast monochromatic white and black areas with brightly - hued squiggles, splashes, stripes, and mazes and investigate what happens when a canvas and an object become a simultaneous and continuous surface for painting.

Focusing her attention on specific aspects of the weather, the beach shore, architectural details and plants that grow in these areas - Gallace's oil paintings are realized with wet - on - wet brushwork into formal compositions and completed on small wooden panels.

As the name implies, the site - specific installation is a chance for these talented individuals to reveal their own creative motivation in the areas of graffiti, street art, photography and classic painting, while collectively creating a cohesive exhibition that showcases where their mediums intersect.

The subjects for [much of work] are places within the general area where I live in northeast Tennessee... I hope in these pieces I have extracted some of the particulars of the place each painting is based on, but I have also tried to not allow specific visual information to crowd out the internal response I had to each place.
