The court should examine absurdities that are apparent on the face of the text itself, rather than «absurdities» resulting from the text's application to a specific factual scenario.
Often an ET1 is accompanied by a Grounds of Claim which sets out the factualscenario of the claim and the specific areas of law which the Claimant allege have been broken.
