One of the compartments has a little hole at the bottom — so I can just pour my oil in there and it'll slowly stream in, saving minutes of labour that I can then
spend having a glass of wine or petting the cat.

It is not that I'm lazy but... after eating a great meal I
would rather kick back with a

spending my Saturday's in my kitchen gleefully chasing a winter sunbeam around my kitchen in order to get a brightly coloured photograph
of a red pepper and rosemary bulgur wheat salad, I
'd have raised my eyebrows to you, possibly put down the
glass of wine that never left my hand in those days, and let out a raucous laugh.
Even if I only
had a
glass of wine, I
would spend the next day hung - over and feeling negative about my day.
But if you're at a dinner party, your body will thank you to eat what the host prepared and
spend time with friends and
have an extra
glass of wine.
To be honest, I just can't imagine a better way to

V - Day than to be sipping a

of my favourite people, surrounded by some fine decor and great atmosphere.
Okay, I
have to admit that I'm more the person to

wine than to go partying in the hottest clubs.

've been slowly recovering, working on my middle grade novels for traditional publishing (thank God they don't expect 4 a year), and
