You'll
spend about half the game
exploring cities,
dungeons and wildernesses, and half in your ship, managing crewmembers and doing battle with enemy vessels.
On top of that, the
dungeons are the best in the series, and even with the annoying Triforce piece hunt, I never found myself bored with the sailing and would
spend hours simply
exploring the world.
Of course, when you're not at home training an army of valiant vendors and tending to their every whim and fancy, you'll
spend the majority of your time trekking through a sea of sand filled with dilapidated
dungeons to
explore and replenishable resources to collect.

dungeons and cities, and fighting monsters like any other traditional Japanese RPG.
