Here's the list: Coffee, Chocolate (both for caffeine), Alcohol (c» mon, you don't want to give your baby a buzz), Broccoli (and other «gassy
foods» like beans, couliflower, etc.),
Spicy Foods (like jalapenos and so on; incidentally not all babies have a problem so just exclude if fussiness seems to occur), Garlic (also a taste issue for baby possibly), Fish (same as during pregnancy, mercury happens), Citrus (apparently can irritate their new little gastrointestinal system), Peppermint and Parsley (used to halt milk supply so use sparingly), Peanuts / Tree Nuts (high - allergen
food passes to baby), Corn (high allergen), Shellfish (high allergen), Egg (possibly egg white allergen), Soy (
food allergen), Wheat (especially if mom or dad is allergic), and
of course Milk and Dairy (for, you guessed it,
food allergen).
Enjoy Central American favorites like rice and beans, Mexican classics like escabeche, British standards like hot cross buns,
spicy Caribbean dishes, unique Garifuna
foods such as cassava bread, and,
of course, lots and lots
of delicious seafood.
These include fatty meats, cheeses and high fat dairy products, salt, alcohol and
