This refreshing green
spinach apple smoothie is among my favorites — and you'll love it too if you prefer smoothies that are juicy than thick.
Not exact matches
I use a blender to make most of my
smoothies but for this one I put the
apples and pears through a juicer and then the juice into the blender with the
spinach and avocado.
Apples can be a bit weird texture wise when
smoothied so I think I would leave those out and just blend the pear, avocado and
spinach with a little water in a blender, you may want to add some dates to sweeten it as it will be quite savoury without the fresh juice.

spinach and kale to be a bit pungent or bitter, so we recommend trying it with some
apple cider vinegar (another fantastic health food) or blend them into a
smoothie.
Either toss a heaping spoonful (or two) of
apple crisp into your next
smoothie with almond milk and add some leftover raw greens like kale or
spinach, or warm it up and eat it with a spoonful of your favorite nondairy yogurt.
DIY version: To round out the macronutrient balance and bump up the fiber in this
smoothie, blend a small whole cored green
apple with a half cup of frozen pineapple, a half cup each of fresh
spinach and kale, a quarter of a ripe avocado, a tablespoon of chia seeds, one scoop of plant - based protein powder (I personally like Naked Pea vanilla), ice, and enough water to create your preferred consistency.
