By the same token, it can also stop an inside rear tire from
spinning on acceleration — basically replacing a heavy mechanical limited - slip differential.

Even in the dry, this car regularly
spins the front wheels and there is fairly significant torque steer
on acceleration.
Inability to
spin any tire during launch
Acceleration performance; I am skeptical of the claimed 4.5 - second 0 - to -60-mph claim, not to mention the 200 - mph top speed Mushy brake pedal Slippery machined edges

Even
on snow - free pavement,
acceleration around town would often overcome the tires» modest grip, forcing the Optima's standard traction control to rein in the
spinning.
Alright, let me be honest and tell you a few things that I dislike about this car: - Gas Mileage (Hyundai claims it gives you 25 mpg in the city, which is not true, I get not more than 23 mpg in the city for sure)- Traction Control (The traction can not handle the
acceleration and the wheels would start
spinning, even
on the dry roads, not sure what to blame)- USB port - The built in USB port does not support android, at least not in my case, therefore I have to rely
on Bluetooth or AUX)- Dull Alloy Wheels - The dullness of alloy wheels for the SE trim does not compliment the car over all, but eh, I can't complain much as it is a BASE model Now, the things I absolutely love about this car: - Great Turn Radius - Beautiful LED lights (even with base model)- Highway mileage (35 mpg even driving at 75 miles an hour, you might get better than 37 mpg if you drive at 55 miles an hour)- Spacious trunk - Great leg room for rear seats - Just enough power to accelerate quickly and merge
on to the highways / freeways - Amazing Brakes - Sports, ECO and Normal Mode (For those who do not know, once switched to SPORTS mode, the car's steering becomes stiff as well as the engine along with the help of transmission helps you accelerate the car faster, you actually feel like driving a sports car.
The system also works
on acceleration out of a corner when the inside rear has a tendency to
spin, allowing the driver to put power down more quickly.

acceleration and would
spin up higher into the rev range when the driver demanded.
Each motor

acceleration to focus
on maximum efficiency and range.
It also improves traction under
acceleration by preventing the driving wheels from
spinning on slippery surfaces.
Thus, in a car with a short wheelbase, the short lever arm from the CM to the rear wheel will result in a greater lateral force
on the rear tire which means greater
acceleration and less time for the driver to adjust and prevent a
spin out or worse.
This system works similarly to an anti-lock brake system, but instead of not allowing the wheels to lock up, the ASC system prevents wheels from
spinning on heavy
acceleration.

on gear changes and deceleration, the SL450 emits a mechanically pure whirr, like a big turbine
spinning up.

spin - out.
Because contraction of the vortex tends to require faster rotation (conservation of angular momentum), which increases centrifugal
acceleration, which opposes contraction, it becomes hard for air to flow in sideways to take the space of warmer air that is rising when the air is
spinning; thus, a rising column of air can pull up
on air from below.
