In
spite of financial difficulties, the faculty expanded with an
additional class teacher each year, specialty teachers for French and German and a full -
time Eurythmist who was hired in 1993.
The principal may have worked to redirect people's
time and energy, to develop a collective sense
of responsibility for school improvement, to secure resources and training, to provide opportunities for collaboration, to create
additional time for instruction, and to help the school staff persist in
spite of difficulties.
