To address the other issue — which cards earn points or miles that can get you where you want to go — it's useful to
split award cards into three categories: cards with transferable points, cards without transferable points and co-branded airline cards.
Basically, my own TD Bank credit
card limit would be lowered by whatever credit limit I chose to
award the business; so essentially, I am only good for so much credit overall with them, and I can
split it any way I want, and I didn't go any farther than that but I assume I would have had to personally guarantee whatever the business credit limit became.
