I hate to tell you but more
schedules are adjusted per week
because of
sports activities than ever by religion.
For example, I know that on Fridays and during Ramadan, every day, there tends to be heavy traffic around mosques, particularly at sunset, and similarly on Jewish holidays around synagogues, and on Saturday afternoons around Catholic churches (
because most have a Saturday afternoon service in addition to Sunday services); similarly, I keep a copy of the local pro and college
sports team
schedules handy, even though I only actively follow one
sport.
Not just
because we start to venture outside for
sports but
because teams start to look at their
schedule and realize many games are now make or break in terms of the Playoffs.
I hate strength of
schedule arguments more than I hate red zone fade routes, five - hour football games, and that this dumbass
sport I love continues to get away with a bunch of nonsense
because of a cynical, decades - old definition of «student athlete.»
What is an issue for the rest of the League however, Floor Hockey is now gone from their
schedule and I can't really tell you which
sport is their strong suit,
because it's really ALL of them.
To make this happen, though, you have to
schedule your time well, and give up some things you like to do,
because if you're playing two
sports and doing other training, you're going to run out of time if you're sleeping 11 hours a night (as you probably should).
We hope the word of mouth is there for it
because if Oscar is going to honor a
sports movie this year let it be this one rather than I Tonya (which has
scheduled it's one - week qualifying Oscar release in NY & LA for December 8th) since this one is actually well - made across the board and beautifully acted with Emma Stone making a strong case for herself in the gorgeously overstuffed Best Actress race.

sports movie is based on actual events doesn't mean we haven't seen the same story a million times already.
