Spot on We don't really need anymore offensive players
as Ramsey / ozil /
ox etc theo, Sanchez, rosicky Cazorla and poldi are capable of throwing their hat into the ring for a goal or 2 and are without doubt the best midfielders in the league..
On his current wage plus his age, «IF» we could actually find a natural LW (e.g. Reus / Di Maria / I know there unrealistic though regard them
as examples), wouldn't you agree to ship out Poldi and give chance to the new guy, Carzola, Campbell,
Ox, and possibly Sanchez to battle it out for that
spot.
Absolutely
spot on Ramsey is one if the most backward passers of a ball around the top clubs... My worry is xhaka might have same fault... Though he does put in some decent long passes
as well... But Ramsey should be sold to the highest bidder ASAP... Otherwise he will be unveiled by the wenger
as part of his brood of right wing options... Walcott Ramsey
ox and Campbell filling this position is a recipe for another failed season
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and
Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up...
Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the
Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular
spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies...
as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
If cazorla is back no one is better than him even Ozil...
Ox use to loose the ball so it is not a good choice in the mid better work his magic in the wing... Can't rely on Ramsey, one wonder season adn that's all... Ozil should be sold and give Sanchez what he gets... Ozil is a luxury buy anyway... Before you speak about the mid you have to get WC forward (2 if Sanchez does leave)... But who cares
as long
as The stubborn is here it will be all the same... Next year either we win the EPL or we go 6th or 7th, I don't want this 4th
spot trophy anymore...
We need alot of deadwood gone (which wenger has done tbh last 2 seasons) which is Scez, Ospina, Debuchy, Arteta, Rosicky, Flamini (Hayden takes his
spot or 1 yr deal just
as cover)
Ox and Chambers have to go out on loan and then we have Jenko, Gnabry, Martinez (no2 next season), Akpom (maybe loaned to prem club), Hayden (loaned or takes flames place)
Theo is being moved into a CF role and Ramsey has had to play the Right AM role at the end of the season, we could do with reinforcements in that
spot, I know we have the
Ox who can play there
as well
as Gnabry but can we rely on them to do the job all season while staying fit?
Well wenger cant
spot it even though you can is because he is being reasonable and you are just craving for new signings like a lil baby lets look at our cbs: Kos — World class — suspended Mustafi — Very good / potentially world class — not fit Mert — Very good and a leader — injured Gabriel — Good but i do nt like him that much, but better than Kos was at the beginning - injured Holding — Good and very talented — played Chambers — Good and talented — not fit at all Monreal — Very good and solid (CB or LB)-- played Kolasinac — Very good / good
as CB — played Bellerin — RB or RWB — played
Ox — RWB or LWB — played
Spot on with
ox and Walcott
as attacking options we will not challenge with best..
For now Campbell starts RW,
Ox is behind him in the pecking order
as Theo will be battling Giroud / Alexis for their
spots.
Otherwise, the kids alright...
Ox and Gibbs are watchin from the sidelines
as their
spots get owned by much better players.
RW wouldnt be needed if Welbeck was fit,
Ox progressed and Theo stayed fit but is our weak
spot but if Campbell can keep progressing then maybe take a gamble on him until the summer, god knows he could do the same
as Bellerin / Francis and breakout this season... he has shown glimpes of class and work rate is 4thbest at the club to Sanchez / Ramsey / Ozil imo, wings is the hardest position and Hector n him have gradually got an understanding on the wing with eachother now!
And not quite the same for
Ox / Theo / Alexis / Welbz — all of them play or have played in at least 2/3 different positions in a very fluid and ever changing front 3 and
Ox has filled in centrally in MF
as well — MS and FC fighting over one
spot.
John fox I agree with what you say about young players let other teams develop them I could support Belerin a bit more but I do belive he wanted out so his not a true Arsenal, him and others should look at Sanchez what his going through with all that talent, I'm just saying that other teams are not so accommodating
as many Arsenal players who left to find out, and about Lucas we could of used him this season but he wanted out and now look what's happening to him, I think OG will not have a successful time at Chelse,
OX is in a same situation
as he was at Arsenal the only thing is his secured a CL
spot for next year, the grass is defenetly not greener on the other side of the fence,
In Rambo, Jack and Santi we have three solid tempo makers (providing they stick to their job) with TR7 on his way it could be time for
Ox to stake a claim
as the 4th player for this
spot or Zelalem to be called back in?
