We head into some secret places in the Blue Mountains where we can
spot a variety of wildlife including, Kangaroos,
Wallabies, Gliders, Possums, Owls and even the occassional Wombat.
Also expect unforgettable wildlife experiences, such as swimming with whale sharks and humpback whales, and safaris to
spot Australian wildlife such as rare, black - footed rock
wallabies (the smaller cousins of kangaroos), echidnas (similar to porcupines), red kangaroos, emus and many unique bird species.
As a vital location for numerous threatened and endangered species, Maria Island provides frequent opportunities to
spot common wombats, Cape Barren geese, Forester kangaroos, Bennett's
wallabies and Tasmanian pademelons, with Tasmanian devils also
spotted occasionally.
This provides an opportunity to
spot a vast range of animals including Kangaroo Island kangaroos, Tammar
wallabies, short - beaked echidnas, koalas, Rosenberg's goanna and 260 species of birds, with endangered glossy black cockatoos, hooded plovers, Cape Barren geese, scarlet robins, southern emu - wrens and caspian terns - prime species for enthusiasts.

spotting locations include the Kennett River, the Grampians National Park, and Great Otway National Park, where you'll have the chance to see koalas, grey kangaroos, and swamp
wallabies in the wild.

Overall, quirky habits aside, we had a great time riding the horses on Magnetic Island
spotting wildlife such as
Wallabies along the way.
Travel in an open - air tractor - drawn wagon train with Whitsunday Crocodile Safari and take a cruise to
spot flocks of Magpie Geese, agile
wallabies, resident brolgas, and the prehistoric saltwater crocodiles.
Koala and Wildlife
Spotting Whilst exploring the Great Otways National Park, you will likely be introduced to a few of the locals including koalas, kangaroos,
wallabies, echidnas and plenty of screeching bird life.
Whilst kangaroo,
wallabies and even echidnas can be easy to
spot in grassy clearings, or even trying to cross the Great Ocean Road,
spotting a koala takes more of a keen eye.
Although rock
wallabies inhabit this area, we didn't
spot any wildlife during our hike except a few lizards and a big eel.
If you're lucky, you might
spot an endangered Proserpine rock
wallaby.
The living area opens out to the generous balcony offering rainforest views and if you're lucky
wallabies may be
spotted.
Stroll down to the creek to
spot water dragons, turtles, kingfishers,
wallabies and maybe even a platypus.
