It was originally a 20 - something speed bicycle, but first gear wasn't slow enough, so I cut the large
sprocket off the front, and welded it on the rear to get a lower gear.

I want to maintain my chain and
sprockets to the best possible standard and have heard many schools of thought on chain cleaning but I'd like an engineers perspective on the best method for keeping a chain maintained without taking the chain
off.
i had change: water pump, oil pump, petrol pump, crank sensor,
sprocket, pulley, spark plugs, lids, petrol filter and coil park but it still doing the same thing of cutting
off
Any suggestions on a way to keep the chain tight against the crank
sprocket / guides / etc. while the head is
off of the engine?
Or are you worried the chain will come
