almond milk, sheep's milk, Greek yogurts, and everything
in between).
If you would like to make them
in a regular size madeleine pan, replace 6 tablespoons of the
almond flour with all purpose, wheat,
sprouted wheat / spelt, or rice flour.
We started
Sprouting Zen, one day
in our dining room table after making homemade
almond butter and realizing how easy (and utterly satisfying) it was to make your own food, at home, with minimal organic ingredients.
Later
in the day, I threw together this salad with kale, cabbage, brussel
sprouts, seeds,
almonds, cashews and topped it with olive oil and lemon as dressing.
Doughnuts 2 cups cashews — soaked for four hours, or more 1/2 cup Irish moss — thoroughly rinsed and soaked
in hot water for at least 10 minutes 1 cup water 1/2 cup raw honey 2 tablespoons maca powder — optional 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons
sprouted pecan butter or other nut butter / oil 2 tablespoons
almonds — ground 3/4 cup flax seeds — ground

I made with
sprouted wheat flour and then added
in a little more
almond milk as you usually add a little more liquid when baking with
sprouted wheat.
Then I had the most enormous roast dinner: tofu / kidney bean burger, half a mini onion squash slathered
in almond butter, some carrot / swede mash made with a bit of
almond milk, purple cauliflower,
sprouts (my fave!)
I threw together some rocket / watercress / spinach,
sprouted beans, yellow peppers, tomatoes, brown rice, nutritional yeast, a scoop of my
almond pulp courgette dip and 2 tsp of this insane dressing my mum bought me from her trip to Dorset earlier
in the year, it's got beetroot, parsley + wasabi
in it amongst other things, it has a good kick!

Hi Jolly, Here are some suggestions for substitutions for those ingredients... chickpeas: any other bean you like / can eat cherries: blueberries or strawberries avocados: this is the toughest one, but you can try subbing cashew cream (soaked cashews blended with water) for the avocado
in the salad dressing and pudding cauliflower: Brussels
sprouts or broccoli apple: pear, orange, or pineapple sunflower seeds:
almonds or any other nut (this would make the cleanse no longer nut - free, but if you know you have no sensitivity to nuts, it's no big deal) Hope that helps!
I use raw
almonds in that recipe, because if you soak them overnight they begin a «

* If you can not get ahold of
sprouted almonds, purchase them raw and then roast
in a 300F oven for 20 minutes (this helps break down some of the enzyme inhibitors which otherwise make raw nuts difficult to digest).
