grains as I prefer to get most of my carbs from veggies and fruits, but I do use
sprouted grain breads fairly regularly too.
I've heard that if you can buy
sprouted no - flour whole
grain breads such
as Alvarado Street Bakery (sold at Trader Joe's with their label on it — many varieties) and Ezekial, it's much better in terms of blood glucose spiking.
