Between climate change, habitat
loss, invasive
species, overfishing and overhunting, it looks like the Anthropocene may have the dubious distinction of
spurring the Sixth Great Extinction — the last one being 65 million years ago, when the dinosaurs died out, presumably the result of a cataclysmic asteroid strike.
