It is gooey and tastes just
like a sweet pumpkin cinnamon roll in
square cake form.
I am going to try an experiment of doubling the recipe and baking it flat,
cake - style, so as to get a larger area of the wonderful crust, and then cut it into large
squares and slice it lengthwise, and try it
like a ciabatta.
If so, this will be great for baker»S who

square cake tin, Australian style, rather than making individual buns which everyone also

Square Cookies» (I think they are from Breezy Orchards, who don't have any info on their website) I used to buy them 4 at a time — they are

If this sounds odd, here's some history to contextualize: While Jordana (of Veggie Birthday fame) was my roommate, we grew obsessed with this chewy,

like carrot - raisin - walnut cookie from the Union
Square Greenmarket.
So I saved, (or more
like hid), 5
squares of these babies in the fridge hoping all will be well and the ones served will be plenty along with several
cakes.
However, if I make something
like this Blueberry Breakfast
Cake over the weekend, voila — I've got a yummy breakfast that I can slice into generous
squares to bring with me to work for the entire week — and I'll get to truly savor each and every bite in the comfort of my office!
Using a metal spatula, cut and serve in
cake -
like squares.
The top was crinkly and brownie
like so we served it upside down so it would be prettier as a
cake but I might try this in a
square pan and call it brownies next time.
If you don't have a
cake tin (or just can't bring yourself to call anything to do with chickpeas «
cake»), you could also bake this mixture in a
square tin, and cut it into sticks — which I'm almost thinking sounds even cuter than a
cake -
like slice?!
This makes a pretty small loaf
cake (only serving 6) so if you want something larger (
like an 8 - 9 ″ round or
square cake) double the recipe — the baking time will only increase by about 5 - 10 minutes, so keep an eye (err, nose) on it.
I
like to bake a batch in a
square cake tin at the start of the week, slice them up ready to eat and then refrigerate or freeze to enjoy later.
I'm hoarding 2
squares of this in my freezer at the moment for just the perfect morning...
like tomorrow Cracking in to the top of the crumb and then the soft moist
cake with your fork (or spoon) is one of those moments that should be captured on film and made in slow motion.
Although they turned out to be a little bit more
cake - y than I normally care for (I
like my brownies REAL dense and fudge - y), these little
squares of heaven really delivered in the taste department!
It's still calorie dense, so I keep it to just 1 - 2 small
squares after a meal... but that is enough to do the trick, so I don't feel
like I need to go out and get
cake and ice cream to satisfy my dessert urges.

Square's iOS efforts have always had problems (the dire frame rate in FF6 remains unresolved), but this looks
like it takes the

I have been making chocolate pound
cake for years but my recipe has both cocoa and baker's chocolate
squares in it so I'd
