Hub is the University of Calgary's new initiative to engage
and immerse students, faculty,
staff, alumni
and the
community in a culture of entrepreneurial thinking, challenging them with a new
and bold approach to teaching, learning, discovery
and knowledge - sharing.
School students, principals, teaching
staff and school
communities will directly benefit from the Student Voice
Hub which will provide capacity building resources, information
and support for students
and schools to develop curriculum
and student leadership.

communities,

There are collaborations — at Aberfoyle

and events focusing on real - word applications — Tasmania's Forest Primary School is running a project called Old MacDonald Had a Drone, encouraging students,
staff, parents
and the
community to find out more about how technology is improving local farming practices.
It aims to provide a
community facility outside of school hours; enable internships
and work experience; support students in other educational facilities, including mainstream schools, colleges
and training providers;
and provide a resource
hub for
staff working with SEN children
and families.
Sikander Iqbal most recently served as the chief of
staff at Youth UpRising, a multi-service
community transformation
hub located in the heart of East Oakland providing comprehensive, fully integrated health, wellness, educational, career, arts,
and cultural programming to Alameda County youth
and young adults, ages 13 - 24.
Julia Tedesco serves as executive director of Foodlink, the Finger Lakes regional food bank, where she oversees a
staff of 88
and leads the organization's transition to an innovative food
hub focused on ending hunger, building
community health,
and fostering economic development.
Bridges — who previously served as Curatorial Assistant at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (MCA Chicago)-- will work with Broad MSU
staff to build upon the museum's international exhibitions program
and expand its role as an educational resource for the university, a center for
community engagement,
and a cultural
hub for the state of Michigan
and beyond.

hub of the local
community and it offers a range of support
and education services.
