Rear parking sensors, auto lights and Bluetooth are all practical touches on
the standard kit list, plus BMW's excellent Professional Navigation system is available as a pricey option.
The standard kit list includes every conceivable modern convenience, all of which are electronically controlled, a thorough array of safety equipment and a uniquely tuned sound system designed specifically and exclusively for the dynamics of a car with two very separate acoustic personalities.
The Mazda 3 has a decent
standard kit list, which includes Bluetooth, USB and aux inputs and a seven - inch colour touchscreen display on the top of the dashboard.
The Turbo and Turbo S editions, meanwhile, get fully electric and heated sports seats as part of an extensive
standard kit list; there's also more widespread use of leather throughout the cabin, and a GT sports steering wheel.
HID, keyless entry, electric seats and bluetooth should be in
the standard kit list too.
It's only a shame that cruise control doesn't make it onto
the standard kit list.
The standard kit list continues with tyre - pressure warning, LED headlights, daytime running lamps, sequential turn signals, multi-terrain anti-skid brakes, clearance and back sonar, reversing monitor with 360 - degree view and a four - camera multi-terrain monitor with back guide and panoramic view.
This is just the tip of the iceberg for
a standard kit list that reflects the six - figure price, although there's still plenty of potential for expensive personalisation.
There are no complaints about
the standard kit list, and x-pression cars benefit from air - con, cruise control, DAB radio and Bluetooth.
The few notable additions to
the standard kit list are Porsche's new PCM touchscreen infotainment system and Bi-Xenon headlights, both of which were added for the first time with the 718 update.
Although the Renault is now well equipped as standard, with manual air conditioning, Bluetooth, cruise control, electric door mirrors and a USB socket for iPods and the like, the Swift — which is # 16 cheaper — tops this with keyless go, a six - speed gearbox, automatic air con and xenon headlamps also on
its standard kit list.
Selected highlights from
the standard kit list include 18 - inch alloys, eight - speed Sport automatic gearbox, self - levelling rear suspension, electric tailgate and adaptive LED headlights.
Not exact matches
Surprisingly, buying a BMW i8 requires relatively little scanning of the options
list as pretty much all the
kit you could want as
standard, so unlike some cars we could mention (Porsche 911...), specifying the Bavarian hybrid shouldn't drive the price too far north of the # 106,000 entry point.
Luckily the RS has a pretty sparse options
list with plenty of
kit fitted as
standard.
Both models get the 271bhp turbocharged 2 - litre engine of the Trophy, but they arrive with entirely different focuses — the Cup - S trades unnecessary options for a Cup chassis and lower
list price, while the Nav sticks with the
standard setup and gains more
kit.
Tech count isn't overly high, though like all modern Mercs the safety equipment
list is extensive, with driver - monitoring Attention Assist warning you if you're too tired to drive, collision prevention assist and even an active bonnet for pedestrian protection on the huge
standard safety
kit list.
Even with the special
kit, the 2017 Toyota 86 860 Special Edition
lists for $ 30,040 for the six - speed manual (the six - speed automatic is another $ 720), which is $ 2,900 more than a
standard 86, and $ 2,100 more than a 2017 Subaru BRZ Limited when equipped with optional 17 - inch STI black alloy wheels.
The Sonic RS comes
standard with an extensive
kit list, including multifunction steering wheel, cruise control, full - size spare wheel, MyLink infotainment system, air - conditioning, and electronic windows, as well as all the usual safety features, including ABS, EBD, BAS, ESC, and traction control.
It isn't the most extensive
standard safety
kit list in the sector but passenger and side airbags can be added from the options
list along with tyre pressure monitoring.
Along with the long

It sure does look ugly to have a windscreen mounted GPS rather than a built in GPS into the car... if only Mercedes Benz Malaysia had included it as
standard or optional equipment and with the RM22k price tag... even more so to have it as part of the
kit list guess the NAVI button on the dashboard is useless!

Finally, higher - grade GT variants add additional equipment to the already generous
kit list, with Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Mazda's Adaptive LED Headlamps (ALH) now included as

kit, while you can really go to town with some safety options that used to be the preserve of bigger, far more expensive models.
The car performed reasonably otherwise, and the safety
kit list includes six airbags, while tyre pressure monitors are
standard, and Connect Plus models feature a reversing camera.
Starting at $ 25,995 for the base Forester 2.5 i, the Subaru is the only compact crossover
listed here that comes with traction at all four wheels as
standard kit.
The new Tamura Edition will be offered with an impressive
list of
standard equipment: 17» alloy wheels, Sports styling
kit, front fog lights, electric windows, six - speaker audio system, dual zone climate control air - conditioning, front, side and curtain airbags, and a Thatcham Cat 1 alarm.
The level of
standard kit is impressive, including 16 - inch alloy wheels, climate control, fog lights, Bluetooth connectivity and a six - speaker stereo, and satellite navigation is the only major item on the options
list.
Along with its long

standard kit, our car had the # 5,000 rear seat package that adds individually reclining rear seats, as well as an incredible level of entertainment features.

On the inside, the CTS offers an inviting cabin that is replete with a long

In particular for racing fans this is a great piece of
kit provided that the flaws
listed don't affect you, and outside of racing the controller still offers performance that's just as good as the
standard Xbox 360 controller, or even better, in some cases.
