After engaging this afternoon in a discussion about a number of
issues related
to ongoing
access to justice, I continued thinking about the barriers that
stand between ordinary people with legal problems and their effective
access to justice.
An additional seven responses that did not expressly mention alternative structures but did address
issues related directly
to them: Richard Zorza, ABA Commission on Homelessness and Poverty, ABA Law Student Division, ABA
Standing Committee on Technology and Information Systems, Avvo, George Chandler, Nina Cornett (
issues such as
access to justice, limited licensure systems, more effective collaboration between lawyers and the technology industry, pro se representation, self - regulation of the legal profession).
