On the backs of your chairs did you use
a staple gun for the front part, then just tack the back piece of fabric with the upholstery tacks?
The stapler that we used was a HEAVY DUTY ELECTRIC STAPLER and I would not recommend using a typical
staple gun for a large project like this.
