Getting a compliment on a look I've styled makes my day and it's a great way to
start connecting with other bloggers and get your blog out there!
At first I was too embarrassed (rightfully so when I look back at those archives, eeek) to share my blog with even my closest friends, but eventually I came to and my readership started to grow as friends of friends became regular readers and
I started connecting with other bloggers all around the world.

with 3 of my good blogging friends) from one of the

start blogging in the 1st place!
This last year has been a blast collaborating

starting my YouTube channel, and
connecting with other bloggers.

starting this blogging journey!

bloggers and potential book reviewers to begin lining up your launch promotions.

Like Akila, one of the first things I tell people who want to get
started is to find your tribe (
connecting with other bloggers in your field).
I think finding people who
started at the same time as you in a similar niche perhaps (not necessarily the same exact style as you, but maybe
bloggers who all blog about homes or recipes, or family blogs or craft) is a great reason to
connect because you'll probably have all the same types of questions and same types of challenges and can share audiences
with each
other.
