With the official start of Fall starting tomorrow, it's a good time to
start looking at your closet to see what items you already have and what gaps there may be.
After last week's post of an alternative option for the business suit,
I started looking at my closet in a whole new light.

Not gonna lie, when I got to the end of 2017 and
started looking at what I sewed throughout the year... I was a bit depressed to still be
looking at a fabric stash instead of garments hanging in my
closet.
In preparation for fall, I have
started to take a closer
look at my
closet to determine the things I need to add for the coming season.
When I first
started this blog, I
looked at my
closet and realized that 60 % of my clothes were Aritzia, 30 % were American Eagle, and the other 10 % were from other places.
After a couple months feeling content with my clothes, I think winter
started wearing on me and now with spring finally finally coming, I'm
looking at my
closet with more scrutiny for sure.
At first I didn't want to do color blocking, but once I
started looking in my
closet there were more choices than I thought!
I really wanted to show off
looks that would be easy to recreate with pieces already
at home in your
closet so I
started with a floral print tee.
So I
looked at the robots and discovered we had a competition in Tasmania, so I volunteered for that, and then when I
started at Ogilvie, I discovered we had a whole
closet of unused robots, so I took those into a class that I was teaching of how things worked, and it was a lower level class sort of centred around engineering
at a simple level, and the girls just took to them like crazy, they really, really enjoyed them.
