You need to have
calorie deficit so your body
starts to burn
stored energy.

started walking an hour on the tread and just drank water all day everyday until the weekend came when I would walk over to the
store and buy some candy — maybe a couple thousand
calories.
But while cutting down on your
calories, your body will try to keep the fats it has been
storing for years and will
start burning your muscles instead.
