Status holders so you're not getting anything exclusive internet-wise by being a Gold Member.
American, Delta, United, Alaska, JetBlue, Hawaiian Airlines, Virgin America and Sun Country all
offer that
perk to any elite
status holder.
These
status levels vary wildly from program to program, both in requirements and
perks, but generally speaking they
offer various benefits like priority check - in, bonus mile / point earning, complimentary upgrades, etc..
You can even get free breakfast as a
perk of the elite
status offered by some of these cards.
Some credit cards
offer perks like elite
status or free checked baggage, so determine if that additional value is something you'll use.
A lot of people argue that having Silver
status is almost identical to the
perks offered by the United MileagePlus Explorer Card.
One of my favorite
perks of this card is that it comes with Hilton Honors Gold
Status just for having the card, which
