Serve with juicy
steak, with
grilled shrimp, chicken, or
on its own.

The marinade loans a great flavor to the meat, and later gets heated to a boiling point to create a sweet syrup to drizzle
on the
grilled steak.
Generously brush each
steak with this mixture and place
on the
grill.
The
steak is quickly BBQ'd (or you can use a
grill pan, if you like), then left to rest with a dollop of Parmesan butter placed to melt
on top.
Place the
steak and tomatoes
on the
grill rack or broiler pan.
Sprinkle the seasoning
on the
steak before it's
grilled, and then add the jus and herb butter just before serving.
At Benihana this dish is prepared by chefs with precooked rice
on open hibachi
grills, and is ordered a la cart to complement any Benihana entree, including Hibachi
Steak and Chicken.
