Or, for excellent flavor and added nutrients, try making lasagna with thinly
sliced,
steamed zucchini instead of traditional lasagna noodles.
It has broccoli in it so there's really no need for an additional vegetable, but the other night we had a couple of fresh
zucchini in the fridge so we
sliced them up and
steamed them.
We love
zucchini and have spent the summer eating tons of it by grilling it mostly but also
steaming it or
slicing it up into pasta.
