sticky doughs before trying this recipe.

This hasn't happened when i've made it
before, but you could try and adding a little more water to hold the
dough together and keep adding little by little until the
dough is slightly
sticky and holds together x
I've kneaded into two loafs but they are still quite
sticky (not the usual smooth elastic bread
dough) Do I need to knead it for long
before letting rise for another 3 hours?
I keep kosher salt in an empty spice jar, and also keep one with corn meal for shaking onto pans for pizza or artisan - type breads and one with flour for
dough that's just a touch too
sticky or for slashing bread

before chilling the
dough will be slightly
sticky, but not so much that you can not form balls (if you didn't let the butter cool completely it will be too
sticky).
If it feels really
sticky, try,
before you add the last 1/2 cup, to just rest the
dough for 10 minutes
before resuming kneading and deciding if it needs the last 1/2 cup.
If the
dough is too
sticky you can chill it for 10 - 15 minutes
before you roll into balls.
One of my favorite parts of this recipe is that the natural oil in the peanut butter makes the cookie
dough super easy to work with, unlike some of my other
doughs which are super
sticky before baking.
* If you don't have a cookie scoop and the
dough seems extra
sticky, place in the fridge for 30 minutes first

As far as transferring from bowl to pot, you need to somewhat «shape» the
sticky risen
dough on a well floured surface
before adding it to the pot, so the countertop rest is necessary.

sticky and soft for me to roll and cut it so i rolled it between clingfilm and popped it in the freezer to harden
