Some of us have already made up our minds, but for those
still undecided, the mad geniuses — or
monsters — at Volpe Music released their own version of the
classic Star Wars theme song made entirely from porg squeals, taken from the first in certainly a long line of porg - related merchandise.
There are
still improvements to be made on the CGI front but it
still looks good putting a fresh spin on a
classic monster that doesn't get much attention.
The Wolf Man may not look like the
classic Universal
monster that we all know and love, but he's
still effective.
While the game does feel like a re-skin at times,
Monster Wars
still does a great job taking the
classic gameplay from Legendary and transplanting it in a new setting.
The Creature From the Black Lagoon remains as one of horror's most
classic monsters and to this day
still holds up as one of the coolest
monster suites in cinematic history.
Still, there's an exception to every rule, and if we're going to make one here, we felt it should be with this comedy
classic, one of the first times that Dracula (and the Wolf Man and Frankenstein's
Monster, for that matter) made an appearance in any sort of comedic context.
Early titles such as PixelJunk Racers and PixelJunk
Monsters were
classics that are
still played today, due to the developer's fantastic support of them.
