While there are
still public scholarships that anyone can apply to, many graduate students can also apply for scholarships and grants in their field or department.

The New York state legislature is due to adjourn later this week, but there's
still no agreement by Assembly Democrats on an education tax credit sought by Gov. Andrew Cuomo that would allow donors a tax credit when they give up to a million dollars for private school
scholarships and some
public school programs.

Scholarship program has been statewide in FL since 2001, was
still the nation's largest voucher program last time I checked, and only served special needs children.
Florida's new education savings account for students with special needs is based on Arizona's highly popular program, but with a twist: nonprofit
scholarship organizations will administer the program rather than the state, though the accounts will
still use
public funds.
The union argues that — despite the corporate tax workaround — it
still violates the separation of church and state because the
scholarships allow children to attend private religious school on the
public's dime, among other issues.
