library available online in a way that was smart and affordable with the (somewhat ironically titled) DCU — Digital Comics Unlimited. The demand for this became readily apparent to all, as Marvel's servers crashed from the tons of fans
visiting the service on its first few days. While there are
still gaping holes in the
library, Marvel has done a good job of positioning themselves for the 21st century with the DCU.
