People keep using stats to defend him because that's the only way to defend him. When you watch him most at times you he hardly wows you or is any special. Can i ask a question couldn't Chamakh or Bendtner or Aliadiere score about 15 - 18 goals with this super super creative arsenal midfield.I mean lets be honest if Chamakh in his first season should have scored 20 goals in EPL many people would still want him out you know why because watching every aspect of his game and also analyzing every aspect of his game he was below average in his time at arsenal to be honest. So its not only about stats because stats do nt tell me the whole story about a player though they are facts and don't lie the eyes do nt lie.And with this same eyes we look at players and say Aguero is better thab Bony, Costa is better than Remy, and so on.

started watching arsenal in 2005 but thus far this has been my most disappointing season, ok other seasons have been disappointing but this one is my worst, arsenal fans have been too patient and forgiving for too long, zero planning for games, lack of proper tactics before and during matches, same old excuses every season, lack of proper transfers, poor replacements for great players who have departed, favouritism of certain players eg ramsey, OG, TW who perform poorly but still play while campbell, coq are benched..

wenger needs to broaden his thinking and horizon... and think beyond sanchez, so many players can replace him, carrasaco, even baruwa (of lipstik) whom we just saw in the emirates cup, dembele etc... i just watched liverpool trash bayern... liverpool have always has a sharp attack, now their defence seems solid... wenger is just a straight jacket, i do nt care what others are doing, i know it all coach and it will really hurt come begining of season, unless he prunes his pride and look over the wall at what his competitors are doing that is strengthing the weakness and planning ahead... our midfield was weak and indeed still is... we glad about lacazzete, but unless our defence gives 110 all games, and we look at life beyond sanchez... we will have our fellings hurt this season

why was Sanchez truly playing... no one believes he was too injured to play to start the season, and some like myself would go as far to suggest he wasn't injured at all... so why play him... they can't say it was to appease the fans because when was that ever a factor at this club except when «panic buys» were in the offing... I believe that this was to give Arsenal a little leverage when it comes to negotiating his transfer... just imagine their horrible bargaining position if Sanchez never saw the field before the deadline then heading back to South America and played for Chile... regardless of the facts, this was sadly again another example of a team putting business ahead of fielding a team with the greatest chance to secure 3 points... of course, some will say that Sanchez is, or was, our best player, so obviously he's a no - brainer to start, but those who really watch the game know that his heart hasn't been truly in it for quite some time... even at the end of last season you could see a definitive difference between the Sanchez who played for Chile and the one that played for Arsenal... that being said, 70 % of Sanchez is still better than a 100 % of the vast majority of our remaining roster... shame on you Arsene and shame on you too Sanchez for that telling smirk... Well im not in a wonderland he has his failings as we all do and great teams find a way to win good teams sit where we are 6 -5-4 but thats besides the point and it would be nice if your aunty had bolocks cause then we d be second but ive watched the games were an offensive team most the time although were terrible in the pissing rain but for the most part the game plans have worked weve created chances quality scoring chances one after the other problem is for me the finishing unless we sit back with 9 man behind the ball or ten when you push forward you will give up a goal if you lousy forwards fail to finish the set ups have been there this year but our strikers have failed to kill the games if we create quality chances and grab leads in the first 60 minutes like we have for the most part and in those games those games should of been killed even if we give a goal or two alongside the strategy but we failed to hit multiple should be goals we tried laca we'll see abou auba although hes a bit lazy so far but we'll see but we've lacked that quality in front goal a player the chances have been there im looking at the failure of the strikers and maybe that is his fault but monreal has scored as many goals recently as our strikers and thats sad our defenders or a midfielder will score and our stikers cant tally one in th first 60 mins of a game alongside them then were tired for last 40 give them hope there still only down one and we rue our missed chances while they push thats where iv been frustrated with this season not the tactics but the finishing

I think its a bit tough on the lad, don't forget he is still young and hasn't fully reached his potential just yet (24), either he improves his form or he sits out a while and actually watch how carzola and rosicky does it and a drastic change in formation is needed indeed.I think a good CDM would aid mertesacker quite well if you've followed Everton last season with Barry covering up for distin and ideal quick defender yes would help koscielny and debuchy when marauding forward.Attack wise I see a lot of potential in our forwards I just think we should consider our youth set up very well.

Why was Lacazette being played on the wing? He's not that kind of player. He prefers try to linkup with players ahead of him and hardly tries to dribble. He should have been played in the centre where he» smost effective with his finishing and movement. We him to get to top form and to gel with the team. He's our hope this season no matter who leaves. Also I watched only the second half of the game but what's this I'm hearing about Giroud not passing to Lacazette or refusing his handshake?I hope what I'm hearing is not true.A lot of our players are still here due to Wenger's kindness and if those players don't show respect they must be shown the door.I was very impressed with Nketiah and Joe Willock today.I wanted to see more of Malen though.

Quality is not all about goals or stats you know.If it was a lot of Arsenal players would have been sold and many players would not even be regarded.People need to look at the bigger picture. He scored 16 goals last two season as the starting CF.You and I know that based on the chances he gets he should've been doing better. The guy is not even a clinical player from what we watch yet people will always deny that fact. The only case people make up for Giroud is his goals. They can't even talk about his quality on the ball and others because it's non existent. He was part of the reason why Arsenal couldn't win the trophy in 15/16 season. It's a shame we are compromising and refuse to state things the way they are.Even if Giroud scores 40 goals in the EPL qualoty wise he's still average.
never waste CAPITAL LETTERS on an article about Chambers at this juncture... I still can't believe that no one from management has ever explained why such a frugal club spent so much money on him in the first place... we haggle for months and years with clubs for players who could have a monumental impact on the very future of our club but somehow we found $ 16 million for someone who couldn't regularly crack a Southampton lineup (very fishy)... don't get me wrong, I like what he showed at times last season in Middlesbourogh but from the handful of games I watched him play I still have some serious questions about his consistency as a back - line player in the EPL; as such he should prove himself on loan for another season, making sure that he goes to a team that wants him in the starting 11... bottom line, let's not get bogged down with the semantics of peripheral players and focus on the real task at hand = figure out who the hell is going to be our starting 11 for the foreseeable future, which means getting contracts signed, getting rid of a lot of deadwood and bringing in talented players into the positions which truly need upgrading... the rest is just unnecessary noise

On what basis are you saying he had a bad season. On the basis of stats or what?If anything he just wasn't at top form.He was still making defenders look average. He's also not had only one good season. He was good in season 14/15 and even destroyed Arsenal in a home fixture that season.I don't know why people think he's average and a one season wonder.I urge you all to constantly keep watching a player before you say he's average. For the same reasons why people don't want Mahrez to be signed I can also equate them to why Ox should be sold. The team he's even in doesn't fit his style of play at all.The whole Leicester team struggled last season which even lead to Ranieri's sacking.
Now there is a question which opens a massive debate about how OUR club is run but the answer has got to be yes, I miss Highbury and to say I loved the clock end as a child through to leaving there for the grove as an adult is an understament, although the stadium has been a financial burden obviously it is still a wonderful place to watch football in, but football and especially Arsenal has changed so much in the last thirty years, I really am concerned about how much our supporters are charged either season tickets or match day sales including food / drink, we have removed a vast core of our traditional support and young because of these prices.

This off topic but I still feel we need a striker we can't let this talent Pablo Dybala go to Man City, I've watched this kid many times this season and he's a mixture of Aguero and Messi, currently he has 7 goals and 4 assists but i'm hearing rumours about Dortmund going in for him which will really disappoint me because i feel he can be a great striker for the future
Arsenal might be winning games again but let's face it their performances have hardly been inspiring.Far and away their best performance so far was a defensive hard earned 0 - 0 away draw to Chelsea. Its a long long time since Arsenal.played a style of football which was fast moving, free - flowing and with consistently positive end result. The media still seam to tar them with that same brush but truth be known the likes of both Manchester clubs, Liverpool and Spurs are far more entertaining to watch these days than Arsenal's tippy - tappy sideways brand of play Hopefully they will be able to build momentum in the coming weeks and inspire confidence prior to the Citeh and Spuds games... otherwise this Season will unfortunately develop into even more farce than Wenger, Gazidas and Kronke managed to orchestrate last year and the Emirates will empty out even more noticeably!!
he's gonna look poor, if u fiddle with pennies in signing players u need and end up signing NOONE then ur fkn gonna look poor, if u walk into a season with 6 senior defenders (one being 19) then bobs ur uncle, ur gonna look poor, in January the WHOLE world told arsene replace fkn walcott so we can win the title and guess what he ignores us AND WE LOOK POOR, watching post match interviews where NOONE TAKES RESPONSIBILITY FOR shit PERFORMANCES, and kinda shrugs them off like» we tried our best, still get my paycheck, who gives a flying fks, the fans r stupid mugs anywayz» makes us look poor
