I am trying to avoid
store bought dressings.
Plain and simple:
store bought dressings ruin the nutritional value of the veggies in your salad by exposing you to a bunch of stuff you simply don't need on your plate.
Most
store bought dressings are full of partially or hydrogenated fats (trans fats), sugars, and other nasty preservatives that our bodies do not need.
They really are better than
store bought dressings, and SO much healthier.
