stories reported in the media may have been ready to go for some period

The imagery paints the picture
of any good
story, we could say that [Spoilers if you haven't read / seen Lord
of the Rings] «Frodo and Sam fight a giant spider,» but Tolkien spends an entire chapter
on the ordeal, taking the
time to help the reader visualize the ferocious nature
of the enemy and the bravery
of our heroes who persevere despite their many weaknesses (doubt, fear, dismay, etc..)
So Mic is rolling out reader - response surveys
on some
of its
stories, which give users a sliding scale
of worthiness they can choose from to express whether a post was deemed
time - worthy or not.

One
of the greatest top ticks
of all
time comes from the October 1968 edition
of New York Magazine (emphasis mine): «You'll hear fabulous success
stories - like the hedge fund guy who made 20 per cent
on his money in a week, for seven weeks in a row.»
There are other signs this is not just a
story of easy year -
on - year comparisons or a one -
time rebound.
